Hello there, I am Coolerking, obviously, I wasn’t born that, I picked this name for myself in the year 2000, as my ‘handle’, for the first internet forum I joined and some twenty odd years later, I am still using it. Why Coolerking I hear you ask, well, Steve McQueen’s character in the best film of all time, The Great Escape… was ‘the cooler king’. I was working on air conditioning units in 2000… so, it sort of all fit in place…
I am a twenty something year… doh, I have already told you about something that happened twenty years ago… that won’t fly… Well, I guess I am a middle aged chap who has finally set up his domain name and email account and to boot, added a word press site to it… Not too sure why… but I have. I live in the North of England in a house. Not like the north of Watford Gap type of north, the actual north, but not Scotland… that’s in Scotland. I like coffee, I have a couple of barista qualifications but have never worked in that field, just a hobbyist. I enjoy a good beer, I have no qualifications in that subject but I can drink more than one and remember my name, so that is good. I have a collection of over seventy bottles of Gin. I have been known to provide long term storage for Swiss Army Knives, or ‘SAK’s’, and other items of shiny goodness that all form a subject known as ‘Every Day Carry’, or EDC.
